The Aerie Collective X The Well Woman
Wild Tea & Pop-Up Tent Party | Trinity Bellwoods
07.10.16 - 6.30 pm - 8:30 pm
Celebrating All Things Wild
Escape the city streets and experience a celebration of all things wild…because, there’s no time like summertime to let go of inhibitions, connect with community, and have an all-out dusk-dance party in Trinity Bellwoods Park.
We are "popping up" our tent for 25 lucky park-goers looking to turn their Sunday into a party. Aerie Chef and Nutritionist Taylor Wild will kick off the evening with a wild-tea ceremony, followed by a short workshop facilitated by Tonya Papanokolov of The Well Woman. We will move into a sundown dance party, only to close with a sound-bath courtesy of Aerie Co-Founder Laura Sniderman.
Come and join us - we'll be in the Indigo tie-dye tent, candle-lit, pillow lounge. You can't miss it! Be sure to sign up and claim your spot - tent space is limited.
Tonya Papanikolov of The Well Woman
Tonya is a creative woman working in the field of alternative holistic health in Toronto. She will be graduating this fall as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Her current focus is a project and website that will launch soon: The Well Woman, a community dedicated to holistic wellness for modern women. Tonya’s work is inspired by cultural, environmental and geographic approaches to food and wellbeing. She aims to reconnect women to their intuitive healing abilities through food, herbs, self-care and creative expression. Tonya calls this ‘the art of holistic living’ and aims to spread this movement as a sustainable, healing and soul-nourishing way of life
Taylor has always been passionate about food and its relationship to our well-being. Growing up in Toronto and brought up in a mindful home her roots created a nourishing foundation for the cultivation of her life and food philosophies; sustainability and balance. She attended George Brown culinary school and soon after placed her focus on nutrition. She graduated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist through The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Being present and pouring love into the food she makes is a staple of her offering. She looks forward to imparting her life mantra, “we are what we eat, so we should love every bite.”
Laura's journey began as many do - under the guidance of an inspiring teacher. Through this fateful meeting, Laura was introduced to the notion that loving both body and earth is the key to abundance, connection, and well-being.
In her quest to understand human connection, and our relationship with the Earth, Laura has spent years studying dance, meditation, cultural crafting, and received her yoga teaching certification during a year in India, Nepal, Indonesia and Africa. Laura is now Co-Founder of The Aerie Collective, a major accounts manager at Muse and has been developing her career as a facilitator, presenting alongside teachers including Deepak Chopra and Krisstina Wise of Wealthywellthy.
