Welcome to Kinnd!
Kinnd is The Get Together’s friend-making branch. It is an intentional community (Facebook Group & soon-to-be-app) thoughtfully designed to help you make meaningful connections that have a lasting impact.
We know that meaningful connections are hard to come by especially right now, and especially online. Yet they are needed more than ever as many of us feel increasingly alone and isolated. Kinnd was born out of this realization and the surprising discovery that current social networking apps are not effectively helping the majority of people make meaningful and profoundly impactful connections.
After countless interviews, late night conversations and 1000’s of hours of research Kinnd aims to revolutionize digital connection by providing a platform that encourages all members to (a) be vulnerable and (b) to give what they can (emotional support, knowledge, skills, time to hangout etc.) and ask for what they need - with one rule “no coin allowed.” The currency of connection here is goodwill enacted through contribution & reciprocity.

And the required agreement of all members to abide by our 7 community guidelines - contribution, reciprocity, radical inclusivity, unencumbered self-expression, positive reinforcement, no-ghosting and decommodification
We are able to match you with people who can meet your needs and for whom you can support. With our platforms celebration of explicit vulnerability and goodwill, we believe we can create the conditions for meaningful and impactful connections to be made.
